Our Branch:
The Commercial and Contract Services Branch provide contract, business and commercial management for Transport for Brisbane. This includes management of the Divisional budget and finances, management and delivery of long term, strategic public transport and contracts such as the bus contract and Metro with the Queensland government, delivery of ferry services, ferry fleet asset management, significant advertising contracts, e-mobility and Personalised Public Transport (PPT).
The Role
The Operations Officer plays a pivotal role by delivering comprehensive administrative and operational support of the ferry contract. This role will assist with ensuring service delivery obligations under the contract are met for ferry facilities and vessel operations. You will be joining a supportive close-knit team with diverse and interesting work (no two days will be the same!), with the opportunity to be involved in a range of exciting project work.
Key responsibilities include:
- review and maintain operator reports, dashboards and contract registers
- prepare correspondence and respond to requests for information from internal and external stakeholders
- process invoices, prepare monthly accruals and support with budgetary reporting
- support with contract and systems administration, including safety and incident reporting
- conduct site inspections and audits across the ferry network.
