Salary Range: Band 6 $116,089- $128,453 + Superannuation (Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions)

Work type: Temporary Full-time

Duration: Up to 12 months

The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and passionate professional to provide exceptional administrative, process management, project coordination and communication support.   This role contributes to the overall operation and strategic direction of the team and City Resilience branch.

In addition to ensuring the smooth running of the Operational Support team deliverables and special projects you will also identify business improvement opportunities, manage emerging issues and concerns, including urgent requests and key operational issues. You will have the ability to prioritise work to deliver in a dynamic environment.

To be successful you will have:

  • the ability to provide high quality professional advice, information and interpretation to senior management on corporate strategies, policies, plans, business and operational issues
  • the ability to identify opportunities for, and implement systems and processes for improved efficiencies
  • experience preparing, editing and proofreading complex written reports, correspondence, memoranda and minutes under tight deadlines
  • excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
  • highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • a one team approach to delivering favourable outcomes to the branch while contributing to a positive work environment.

This role may require active participation in the City Resilience Branch Duty Officer roster and undergo essential training. This includes an on-call roster, reasonable after-hours activities and overtime when required by business needs.
