About the Role:
Join a dynamic team focused on enhancing the skills and efficiency of field work management processes through innovative training solutions. We are seeking an Instructional Designer to create engaging, role-based learning content for Field Work Management (FWM) tools and processes, with a focus on Maximo and related systems. This role is central to ensuring the safe and consistent execution of field work across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze training needs and conduct gap assessments for FWM processes and system modifications.
- Design and develop comprehensive learning content using the ADDIE methodology, including:
- Role-based learning pathways and curricula.
- Interactive modules (e-learning, classroom, blended formats).
- Creation of job aids, quick reference guides, and microlearning videos.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to validate the accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Utilize modern tools (Articulate, Storyline, Copilot, multimedia platforms) for innovative content creation.
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development within technical or operational settings.
- Comprehensive understanding of adult learning principles and competency-based training frameworks.
- Proficient with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate), multimedia editing, and LMS administration.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Maximo, Work Management processes, or equivalent enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with oil and gas operations and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of ADDIE and DACUM methodologies for training design.
