About the Role:
Join our dynamic Utility Integration Business Applications team as a Business System Testing Analyst. In this role, you will ensure comprehensive testing is executed to minimize business impact. Our team focuses on planning and executing integration activities for business systems and processes in a fast-paced environment, supporting current operations.
Description of Duties:
- Coordinate testing activities, including functional unit, system integration, and user acceptance test cycles.
- Collaborate with utilities, other program workstreams, and the technical team to bring together business and TIS components for major system and process alignment projects within the scope of utility integration for Oracle CCB.
- Work closely with the TIS testing team and functional track to coordinate testing across Functional Unit Testing (FUT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
- Define security profiles, segregation of duties, and other user account testing requirements for various systems to implement test cases.
- Prepare test plans, including resource requirements, scheduling, scope of testing, and test case identification.
- Provide quality assurance review for test scripts and coaching to improve the quality of test scripts that require a rewrite.
- Coordinate regression testing requirements with the TIS and Project teams.
- Establish a clear correlation between business requirements, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Monitor test execution and provide status updates to various partners at multiple levels.
- Coordinate test data requirements and creation with TIS, functional track, and business users.
- Plan and lead validation testing to ensure changes have been efficiently implemented into production.
- Provide input to mitigation plans for any defects carried over into production.
- Assist in supporting the successful migration of business systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience with systems testing and associated processes.
- Knowledge of TIS systems and solutions.
- Related university degree and 4 years of previous experience OR an equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
- Understanding of Distribution Operations and the needs of the business.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions and deliver results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including building consensus, negotiation, and facilitation.
- Must be a great teammate and able to work cross-functionally.
