Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the project team in achieving quality results in a cost-effective and timely manner. You will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of pipeline projects, from design to execution, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful community expansion projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support LTC filing for community expansion projects.
- Execute and support design decisions for pipeline construction drawings.
- Lead multiple pipeline projects and designs, managing them from start to finish.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to successfully execute community expansion projects.
- Support and lead scoping activities and create scoping decision records for effective record management.
- Execute line picks, surveys, SUE work, CCI, Kerotest Valves, and pipeline conditioning as required.
- Create and manage Maximo work orders and prerequisites to assist in successful pipeline installation.
- Manage Maximo attachments, PCFs, Rec. governance forms, and revision markups.
- Oversee the internal and external approvals process (OTP).
- Support field changes and create high-quality sketches for permitting and approval purposes.
- Request purchase orders and support the ordering of long lead items.
- Conduct pre-work and information gathering to update forecasts, requiring field time and experience.
- Cross-train between Project Management, Design, and Sales units.
- Assist in logging customer survey information and communication.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or related bachelor's degree.
- 1-4 years of experience in a pipeline operations and/or engineering environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and working knowledge of SAP, GIS, planning, and records.
- Experience or cross-training in departments such as Construction, M&R, Corrosion, Leak Survey, Engineering, AR&I.
- In-depth business, industrial, and company knowledge to perform design analysis effectively, recognizing impacts on capital dollars and understanding Codes, Standards, and regulations.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Project management certificate or experience.
- Working knowledge of Maximo, e-GIS, planning, and records.
- Thorough knowledge of Planning, Design & Records, Operation & Maintenance, and Construction policies and procedures.
