The Role
We have 2, full-time opportunities at our Carina and Toowong depots and may seek an Order of Merit, valid for 12 months, for potential to place at other locations.
Our Depot Operations Team Leaders are an integral part of the Depot Leadership Team. You will lead and mentor a team of over 80 bus operators to continue to transform our business into a world class operation.
You will be the main point of contact for Bus Operators to monitor and guide on issues such as leave, legislation, rostering and development opportunities, ensuring customer service and safety standards are maintained to the highest levels.
Your leadership and connection skills will be critical as you work in close partnership with other depot staff, bus operators, TransLink and the Depot Manager to develop a high performing and successful team.
To be successful you will have:
- staff supervisory experience aligning to Council’s Leadership Blueprint with the ability to develop and maintain a high performing team
- demonstrated experience in resource management, meeting budget and operational deliverables in a transport environment
- proven experience in analysing and interpreting data to make recommendations to drive cost efficiencies and improvements
- highly developed written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills to maximise customer satisfaction
- a current C class driver’s licence is mandatory for this role.
