Our Branch
Information Services branch (ISB) supports and enables nearly all of Council’s day-to-day activities and services through efficient, flexible and innovative ICT solutions.
ISB leads the ICT strategy that supports the business objectives of Council as a whole, as well as information management and ICT service delivery in Council.
The Role
The Senior Test Analyst will join the Modern ERP Testing team and is responsible for applying comprehensive SAP testing strategies, creating detailed test plans and cases from project artefacts (requirements, specifications and user stories) and coordinating testing efforts across project teams in SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
This role involves mentoring Council subject matter experts on testing methodologies, managing test environments and defect resolution, whilst ensuring adherence to Council standards and industry best practices. Experience in payroll testing, including validation of payroll calculations, legislative compliance and end-to-end payroll processes, is highly valued.
The successful candidate will document test results thoroughly, provide regular stakeholder updates, and escalate quality concerns to senior management as required.
To be successful you will have:
- proven experience in software testing methodologies and tools within complex ICT environments
- strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and ERP testing strategies
- excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
- advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to manage defects and drive resolutions
- ability to lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple streams and stakeholders
