What you’ll do:

As an Associate Civil Engineer at WSP, you will take on a leadership role, enhancing your capabilities and contributing to the reputation of our Geo-environmental engineering team. Collaborate on significant projects in civil, infrastructure, and mining sectors, focusing on subsurface environmental risks, geosynthetics, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management.

  • Develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions within an industry-leading team.
  • Lead the delivery of complex projects in geo-environmental engineering, urban infrastructure, waste management, mining, and hazardous dams.
  • Play a key role in developing technical documents for clients throughout various project phases.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, supporting project delivery and business development.
  • Ensure technical project delivery, managing risks and maintaining quality.
  • Undertake project management, focusing on repeat business and desired outcomes for key clients.
  • Mentor and lead a team of junior engineers, contributing to shared project responsibilities.
  • Support operations management in developing and executing strategies for achieving shared goals.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering with extensive relevant experience.
  • Design experience in civil/environmental/geotechnical engineering related to subsurface environmental risks, geosynthetics, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to convey advice to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to lead multidisciplinary projects.
  • Highly motivated, innovative, and committed to technical excellence.
  • Demonstrated project ownership, decision-making, and mentoring skills.
