What you’ll do:
As an Associate Civil Engineer at WSP, you will take on a leadership role, enhancing your capabilities and contributing to the reputation of our Geo-environmental engineering team. Collaborate on significant projects in civil, infrastructure, and mining sectors, focusing on subsurface environmental risks, geosynthetics, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management.
- Develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions within an industry-leading team.
- Lead the delivery of complex projects in geo-environmental engineering, urban infrastructure, waste management, mining, and hazardous dams.
- Play a key role in developing technical documents for clients throughout various project phases.
- Build and maintain client relationships, supporting project delivery and business development.
- Ensure technical project delivery, managing risks and maintaining quality.
- Undertake project management, focusing on repeat business and desired outcomes for key clients.
- Mentor and lead a team of junior engineers, contributing to shared project responsibilities.
- Support operations management in developing and executing strategies for achieving shared goals.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering with extensive relevant experience.
- Design experience in civil/environmental/geotechnical engineering related to subsurface environmental risks, geosynthetics, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management.
- Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to convey advice to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to lead multidisciplinary projects.
- Highly motivated, innovative, and committed to technical excellence.
- Demonstrated project ownership, decision-making, and mentoring skills.
