Description:
Enbridge Gas Inc. is further developing an industry-leading Integrity Management Program to ensure the safety and reliability of our natural gas system assets. Our Integrity department is responsible for understanding the condition of our assets, confirming their fitness for continued use, and justifying replacement projects when necessary.
Role Overview:
This role resides in the Integrity Assessments & Risk - Facilities and Distribution (IAR-F&D) team. In this role, you will focus on Facilities Integrity, which involves sites that connect multiple assets supplying gas to customers. These sites perform critical functions such as pressure regulation, measurement, and conditioning of natural gas. Your primary responsibility will be to estimate risks associated with these facilities using Reliability Engineering concepts, Statistics/Mathematics, and Risk Management techniques. You will assess each unique asset to ensure they are safe and fit for continued service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quantitative analysis related to the probability of failure and consequences of asset failures at critical facilities.
- Collect and review relevant data, perform data quality assessments, and evaluate data patterns and trends.
- Develop and select models, verify and validate results, and support decision-making through appropriate interpretation of findings.
- Collaborate with the IAR-F&D team to ensure assets are safe and fit for continued service.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of an Engineering degree.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience in data analytics, including data quality assessments.
- Proficiency in programming with Python, Reliasoft, and Matlab.
- Experience in Machine Learning or AI.
- Experience with reliability/statistical modeling.
- Experience in working with Maximo and SAP.
