** The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable. 

About the Role:

As a Financial Analyst (Energy Conservation), you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing financial data to support our client's energy conservation initiatives. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Summarize, review, and reconcile financial costs for monthly reporting.
  • Upload data and ensure accurate support documentation is included.
  • Prepare journal entries and code invoices.
  • Perform account reconciliations and conduct financial analysis.
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing legal contracts.
  • Support year-end financial reporting activities.
  • Address ad-hoc inquiries as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Energy Conservation or a related industry.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Power BI.
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate data.
  • Sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles, journal entries, and financial analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple processes, handle competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • A self-starter with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
