Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner

Are you an experienced WHS professional ready to make a real impact? Join the Detmold Group as a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) Business Partner and help drive strategic safety initiatives across our ANZ operations.
Based in Brompton, South Australia, you’ll work closely with the Group HS&W Manager and a collaborative team to implement and enhance Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Injury Management (IM) systems, support self-insurance compliance, and foster a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor WHS and Injury Management systems across ANZ
- Support compliance with self-insurance license requirements in South Australia
- Conduct and review risk assessments, controls, and safety audits
- Coach and mentor leaders to build HS&W capability
- Report on safety performance metrics and improvement initiatives
- Liaise with external contractors for security system management
- Develop and deliver local safety programs to prevent injury and reduce risk
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in WHS and/or a relevant discipline
- 3–5 years’ experience in an Advisor or Senior WHS/IM Operations role
- Proven ability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders at all levels to drive business outcomes while maintaining strong relationships
- Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- A coaching mindset with the ability to build capability in others
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new system
