The Role
As a Senior Customer Liaison Officer, you’ll be the key link between Brisbane City Council and the vibrant Queen Street and Valley Malls. Your role ensures these iconic spaces remain safe, clean, and welcoming for millions of visitors. You’ll patrol public areas, monitor compliance with local laws, and coordinate responses to operational and social issues, creating a positive experience for traders and the community.
Beyond day-to-day operations, you’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders, mentor team members, and provide insights to improve mall management. This is a dynamic, people-focused role where your leadership and problem-solving skills will help shape the heart of Brisbane.
To be successful you will have:
- extensive experience interpreting and enforcing local laws and ordinances in public spaces
- strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering positive experiences
- excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders and manage conflict effectively
- ability to prioritise and solve problems in fast-paced environments with competing demands
- strong written communication skills for preparing reports and correspondence.
