Join Our Adelaide Water Team
We have multiple opportunities to join our growing Adelaide team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering the design and documentation for SA Water’s program of works, along with contributing to national projects through our National CAD/DE team. What You’ll Do
- Apply modelling software and analytics techniques to deliver high‑quality water solutions
- Bring design and modelling experience across water, wastewater, water networks, pumping stations, and treatment systems—or from mining, industrial, or broader infrastructure sectors
- Build and maintain strong industry relationships to support successful client outcomes
- Generate and manage BIM‑compliant federated models, including clash detection, reporting, and database management aligned with client BIM/CAD standards
- Challenge the status quo with innovative thinking and creative problem‑solving
- Take a leadership role across projects, running meetings, design reviews, and check‑ins with clients, engineers, and design teams
- Demonstrate strong technical judgement and professional capability across all project stages
About You
We value diverse strengths and are seeking Mechanical Designers with proven experience across water infrastructure, including networks and utilities, pumping stations, and WTP/WWTP facilities.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Project experience across water management, utilities, or broader civil/mechanical infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Advanced Steel, and Civil 3D
- Experience working with point cloud surveys (highly regarded)
Note that this position can also be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.
