WSP is seeking an experienced Hydraulic BIM Coordinator to lead the coordination, management, and delivery of high‑quality hydraulic services models across complex, multidisciplinary projects. This role is suited to someone already operating confidently at BIM Coordinator level, with deep technical capability and a proven track record in delivering coordinated digital engineering outcomes.
As a senior member of the Building Services team, you will take ownership of hydraulic model delivery, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and seamless integration with other engineering disciplines. You’ll be a key technical reference within the team, supporting project efficiency and strengthening our digital delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setup, development, and coordination of hydraulic BIM models in Revit, ensuring compliance with project requirements, internal standards, and BIM Execution Plans.
- Manage and maintain federated models, ensuring clash-free integration with mechanical, fire, electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines.
- Drive model governance, quality control, and documentation accuracy across all hydraulic BIM deliverables.
- Facilitate BIM coordination meetings, model reviews, issue resolution workflows, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Provide authoritative technical support to engineers and designers, ensuring hydraulic design inputs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Contribute to project planning, forecasting modelling effort, and identifying risks related to digital delivery.
- Support continuous refinement of BIM workflows and digital engineering processes across the team.
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience as a BIM Coordinator within hydraulic building services (consultancy experience highly regarded).
- Advanced Revit proficiency, including model setup, worksharing, worksets, templates, and coordination workflows.
- Strong understanding of Australian hydraulic standards, NCC requirements, and coordination interfaces with other building services.
- Proven ability to coordinate at scale on large or complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to guide multidisciplinary teams through digital delivery.
- Highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
