As the DC Manager, you will be the business manager for our Altona Distribution Centre and will be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse including safety, team, operations, facilities, commercial performance and customer service to the stores. This is an exciting career opportunity which will require a strong focus on transformation, improvement initiatives and leadership – empowering teams to achieve success.

The Person

You will have extensive leadership experience with either a warehousing, logistics or Distribution Centre background. You will be strategically minded and have a strong consistent safety focus along with:

  • a proven track record in driving change management at a strategic level
  • experience within a high volume, automated logistics or similar environment
  • strong Occupational Health and Safety Management
  • demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, ideally with exposure to EA negotiation
  • systems experience is desired in Sap, Manhattan, JdE or Red Prairie
  • relevant Tertiary Qualifications (logistics preferred)
