Ice Skating Australia is the national sporting organisation governing the sport of ice skating in Australia.


The Role

Ice Skating Australia (ISA) is seeking nominations for an appointed Independent Chair to lead its Nominations Committee, supporting best-practice governance and the appointment of Directors in line with Australian Sports Commission's Sport Governance Principles. 

Key skills and experience:

  • Governance experience, including chairing boards or board committees
  • Demonstrated experience in director selection, assessment and succession planning
  • Strong understanding of sport governance including Australian Sports Commission expectations
  • High level independence, integrity and sound judgement
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • AICD qualification or equivalent (highly desirable)
