Archery Australia is the national sporting organisation and governing body for archery in Australia, recognised by World Archery as the sole authority for the sport in our country.
As a not-for-profit, membership-based organisation, we exist to create opportunities for Australians of all ages, abilities, and ambitions to discover and thrive in archery. Whether for fun, focus, or high-performance competition, our mission is to lead and support the archery community to access, enjoy, contribute to and succeed across all levels of sport.
The Role
We are seeking two (2) highly skilled candidates for the role of Appointed Director.
Archery Australia is committed to strengthening diversity and gender balance across our leadership, and to comply with the National Gender Equity in Sports Governance Policy, the board requires gender balance in its composition.
Therefore, we are inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from women and gender diverse candidates for the two vacant appointed director roles. We are seeking candidates inviting expressions of interest from women who would like to contribute their skills and experience as one of two Appointed Directors on to the Archery Australia Board.
We welcome candidates with a broad range of professional backgrounds. Experience in areas such as, Corporations Law, Finance, Corporate Governance, People and Culture (HR), High Level Fundraising or other senior-level skills roles relevant to a national sporting organisation will be highly regarded.
