Ice Skating Australia (ISA) is the national sporting organisation governing the sport in Australia.
The roles
ISA is seeking applications for two (2) appointed directors to lead the following portfolios for the board:
- Communications, Media and Marketing
- Grants and Funding
Communications, Media and Marketing
Lead strategic communications, media engagement and marketing initiatives that promote figure skating, enhance our national profile, and support athletes, members and partners. The Board is seeking applications from experienced individuals with skills in the following areas:
- Demonstrated experience in communications, media or marketing
- Graphic design, video, or digital content creation capability
- Experience of managing digital platforms and social media channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Prior experience working within a sport or not for profit organisation will be highly regarded

Grants and Funding
Identify, secure, and manage grant funding, and fundraising initiatives that support the strategic priorities of Ice-Skating Australia. The Board is seeking applications from experienced individuals with skills in the following areas:
- Experience working within National or State Sporting Organisation
- Knowledge of Australian government funding processes and Australian Sports Commission funding framework
- Demonstrated experience in grants administration, grant writing or fundraising
- High level written communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with key stakeholders
- Strong commitment to good governance and ethical practice
