About the Role:

We are looking for a Document Control Specialist with proficiency in tracking asset data lifecycle and advanced knowledge of document processing tools. You should possess expertise in Gas, Liquids, and Power projects, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the documentation and turnover process requirements specific to each commodity. In this pivotal role, you will interact with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless record turnover to Business Units and validate asset data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Document Control and Records Turnover services for various projects, supporting Business Units throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely vendor record turnover in compliance with Final Vendor Data Book requirements.
  • Process and audit project documentation for retention through asset data verification and metadata attribution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address data deficiencies, independently managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Interpret project-specific business requirements, ensuring compliance with lifecycle gating methodologies and standards.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance team and stakeholder efficiency.
  • Provide expertise in information management tools such as SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerBI, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Information/Business Analysis/Records Management/Library Studies or equivalent post-secondary education.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a project environment or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in asset data management and self-supervised work.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar document control systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to handle high workload and tight timelines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
