About the Role: 

The primary focus of the role is to plan, manage, and coordinate the safe execution of capital and operational projects. These projects include electrical and mechanical equipment repair, pipeline modifications, annual tank inspections, and environmental drilling support.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Engineering:

• Finalize project design and scope with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation.
• Develop requests for proposals and evaluate consultant qualifications.
• Ensure complete and accurate engineering documentation for project execution.
• Facilitate design reviews, change management, and address safety concerns.

Project Execution:

• Contribute to the preparation of Regional operating and capital projects.
• Identify resource requirements and key stakeholders.
• Develop and manage the execution schedule aligned with existing outages.
• Implement risk mitigation plans and handle regulatory applications.
• Oversee resource selection, purchasing, and procurement processes.
• Manage project budgets and forecasts, ensuring projects stay on schedule and on budget.
• Collaborate with regional personnel and contractors to maintain safety and standards.
• Ensure quality documentation and project closure according to company standards.

Scope/Dimensions:

• Design and execute capital and operational project scopes ensuring reliability and safety.
• Develop technical solutions for operational and maintenance issues.
• Manage compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee Operational and Capital budgets.

Working Relationships:

• Engage regularly with Area Operations Managers and Operational team members.
• Collaborate with Project Sponsors, Engineering, Maintenance Services, and other relevant departments.
• Manage 3rd party contractors and direct work execution.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Post-secondary education in engineering or PMP certification preferred, with 4+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with Enbridge Construction Standards and Specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
