Job Overview:
We are seeking a Field Operator to assist Qualified Technicians with various field and shop duties. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are self-starters, possess a strong work ethic, and have a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Technicians with various tasks.
- Support DRA drivers with deliveries.
- Perform yard duties including snow clearing, grass cutting, weed whipping, and yard harrowing.
- Manage water systems.
- Maintain records and documentation, and conduct pre-use checks.
- Carry out monthly safety, equipment, and vehicle checks.
- Perform general building housekeeping.
- Pressure wash equipment.
- Potentially support other stations or Rights of Way (ROW).
- Execute any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience in a related field such as construction, oil and gas, or mechanical.
- Valid class 5 driver's license.
- Basic knowledge of common tools and equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours at short notice, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to perform manual labor outdoors.
