Our Branch
Customer Services delivers a range of services to the residents, visitors and businesses of Brisbane. Whether it be contacting our Contact centre, requesting building plans, applying to light up a Council asset, needing a food business licence or looking for your lost property – we are here to help. For over a decade, our branch has been Council's front line for customers, through a collaboration of 3 critical teams bringing together customer service, insights, policy, process, governance, and projects to deliver outstanding experiences for our community.
The Role
Lead a team to deliver strategic business analysis, drive stakeholder engagement, and enhance customer service delivery. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement. To be successful you will have:
- ability to lead performance by setting clear direction, providing support, and monitoring ongoing performance in line with Council’s Leadership Blueprint
- demonstrated leadership and extensive experience in delivering high-quality business analysis documents, including crafting business requirements, functional requirements, and comprehensive options papers
- well-developed interpersonal skills to navigate confidential and sensitive matters, resolving complex team and human resource issues with tact and proficiency
- highly developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to negotiate, consult, coordinate, and deliver innovative business analysis and solution options effectively
- demonstrated expert analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities for improved services and innovative solutions that support business outcomes across various systems.
