The opportunity:

Working from our Mackay cables services operation as the Production Administrator, you will be responsible for providing high quality customer service and administrative support to our workshop and field service teams. Your efforts will ensure a smooth process in production and high level of customer service.

Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager this position is a permanent full-time position. You will be performing a diverse range of functions including general administration, processing orders, compiling quotations, scheduling jobs, procurement, coordinating inventory, invoicing, document control, reporting & liaising with customers.

What are we looking for from you?

• Well-developed customer service and business communication skills
• Advanced administrative skills with a focus on quality and accuracy
• High level proficiency in MS applications (word, excel)
• Experience in manufacturing operation/workshop environment
• Expertise in business database usage or with an ERP/MRP – data entry, report generation and analysis
• Demonstrated experience with invoicing, job costing and job closure – advantageous
• Qualifications in Business Administration and/or relevant work experience
