Project Manager

Ampcontrol is looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of major infrastructure and tunnelling projects. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, guide multidisciplinary teams, and ensure outcomes are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will oversee end-to-end project execution from planning and design through to construction and commissioning. You will play a key leadership role, aligning stakeholders, managing resources, and driving performance to achieve exceptional project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of infrastructure and tunnelling projects from initiation to completion
• Manage client relationships, stakeholder engagement, and contractor performance
• Develop and control project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk management plans
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Prepare and present progress reports, financial updates, and contract documentation
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

About You

• Trade qualification or tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline
• 5+ years’ experience managing infrastructure, construction, or tunnelling projects
• Demonstrated success delivering medium to large-scale projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Proficiency in project management systems and software
