About the role
The Document Controller plays a key role in providing supportive, collaborative document management expertise across the Projects and Infrastructure team. In this role, the Project Document Controller helps guide and streamline how documentation and records are organised, ensuring project teams feel confident and empowered in meeting all Regulatory requirements, Client expectations, and organisational standards.
The Document Controller is responsible for:
- Thoughtfully supporting the administration of the Project Document Management System, including the caring coordination, issuing and tracking of all documentation, drawings and records.
- Creating a secure, well‑organised and easy‑to‑navigate environment for storing project documentation, ensuring internal teams clearly understand and confidently use the required legislative and regulatory records and management systems.
- Developing and implementing supportive management systems and clear reporting processes that align with Zinfra’s broader management system requirements.
- Contributing to compliance activities by helping the Projects and Infrastructure team prepare compliance plans, reports and documents, while gently monitoring progress against procedures, plans and obligations registers.
- Providing approachable, practical guidance to office and field‑based staff, Vendors and Suppliers so they feel equipped and supported in meeting Project document management requirements.
- Maintaining the accuracy and currency of critical documents by leading and nurturing the document review process with care and consistency.
About You
- Detailed knowledge of and experience in electronic document management systems and document control procedures / methodologies
- Understanding of the regulatory and legislative environment affecting the energy industry.
- Understanding of Project and Change Management system.
- Understanding of Quality systems.
- Ability to understand review requirements and manage the review of technical procedures
