Join our team of intelligent and collaborative Changemakers and make your mark on tomorrow! In this role, you’ll work in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Team based in Brisbane, Gold or Sunshine Coast Offices as a CAD Drafter (Technician).

Transport & Infrastructure

Our Transport and Infrastructure team leverages the latest technology and a culture of innovation across the planning, design, and management disciplines to deliver connectivity, mobility, and resiliency to Australian communities.

What you’ll do:

  • Autonomous preparation of high-quality drawing and model deliverables for major transport projects
  • Working closely with engineers and design modelers to ensure drawing production is on-time and to the required client presentation standards
  • Maintaining and reporting on personal workload, forecasting time to complete for tasks
  • Comply with Documentation Standards and Quality Systems relevant to client and discipline
  • Possess appropriate time management skills and flexibility to allow for the management of a varying workload

About you:

  • CAD Drafter typically with a minimum 2 years of experience – transport experience, electrical and/or Intelligent Transport Systems - is ideal
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification) is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in production of high quality design drawings for large transport projects
  • Preparation of drawings and reference models in AutoCAD. Experience with 12D and Navisworks also desirable. 
  • Experience in various project phases including tender design, detailed design, and as-built drawing production
  • Experience in managing the drafting of small to medium sized projects including the work of others
