Keen to get your hands dirty? We are looking for two enthusiastic, inquisitive security engineers to join our growing team where you will have the opportunity to further develop your cyber skills in a fast paced retail environment.
The Security team is responsible for the design, implementation and on-going support for a variety of security tools and platforms to ensure our systems and data remain secure. The team is also responsible for the monitoring, response and remediation of any security incidents within SRG.
The Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining and monitoring security measures for the protection of the Group’s systems and data. These include EDR, CASB, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, MFA, Cloud Security, Network Security and other security related services as they arise from the cyber security roadmap.
The role involves:
Assuming responsibility for the administration of the Group’s security tools and platforms.
Utilising an in-depth understanding of the Group’s Infrastructure Systems to create, plan and implement detailed deployment designs.
Diagnosing problems affecting systems and services & resolve within short timeframes to enable availability, continuity & integrity of services.
With at least 5 years of experience as a Security Engineer, you will have gained a solid experience in security related technologies, a proven track record and a can-do attitude to solve security challenges.
You will also bring:
Experience in deploying and operating security controls in large scale and distributed environments.
Proven experience and knowledge of security frameworks and regulations, including ISO 27000 family, PCI-DSS, NIST, ASD Essential Eight
Willingness to respond to out of hours incidents.
Strong communication, consultation and technical writing skills.
CCSP, CISSP (or similar).
Relevant vendor certifications.
CEH or OSCP (or demonstrating the desire to obtain these certifications)
