Profit Protection Operations Manager | Protect Profit. Lead Change. Drive Performance.

About the Role… Reporting to the Head of Profit Protection, you'll drive the Group Loss Strategy across stores and distribution centres. Working with operational leaders and stakeholders, you'll coach teams, lead investigations, strengthen accountability and improve loss performance across 760+ stores nationwide. 

What You'll Be Doing…

• Drive Commercial Loss Performance - Lead initiatives that reduce shrink, improve stock accuracy and strengthen profitability by identifying loss drivers and partnering with leaders to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strengthen Store & Supply Chain Controls - Support stores and distribution centres to improve inventory processes, operational compliance and control effectiveness through coaching, reviews and practical solutions.
• Lead Investigations & Risk Response - Oversee internal theft, fraud and misconduct investigations, ensuring matters are managed professionally, consistently and in line with policy and legal requirements.
• Deliver Security & Loss Prevention Solutions - Partner with stores, centres and security providers to improve site security, strengthen loss prevention measures and reduce identified risks.
• Build Capability Through Coaching - Develop the capability of store and operational leaders through training, performance coaching and clear accountability frameworks that support long-term success.
• Champion Change & Continuous Improvement - Lead pilots, trials and operational initiatives that improve execution, simplify processes and drive sustainable improvements in profit protection performance. 

What You'll Bring

• Multi-Site Leadership Experience - Proven success leading operational performance across large, geographically dispersed retail environments with accountability for results.
• Profit Protection & Investigations Expertise - Strong experience in loss prevention, investigations, fraud, operational risk, asset protection or retail security.
• Commercial & Analytical Thinking - Ability to interpret data, identify trends and convert insights into practical actions that improve business performance.
• Stakeholder Influence - Confident engaging with operational and senior leaders, building alignment and driving action across multiple teams and functions.
• Coaching & Performance Leadership - A hands-on leader with the ability to coach, develop capability, manage performance and drive accountability. 
• Flexibility & Travel - Comfortable working across a large retail network with regular travel required to support stores, distribution centres and operational teams.
