Super Retail Group is the proud owner of four iconic brands: Supercheap Auto, rebel, BCF and Macpac, and is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest retailers. The talent of our teams and their passion for providing an experience which inspires and enhances our customers’ leisure time drives our culture of innovation and opportunity.

About the Role

At Super Retail Group, our purpose is to inspire and equip everyone to live their passion every day!

Are you passionate about turning complex data into meaningful commercial insights? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst to join our team on a 6-month max-term contract and play a key role in advancing our Value strategy across Super Retail Group.

In this newly created role, you'll bring together commercial, supplier and financial data to build scalable analytical models, reporting capabilities and insight tools that improve trading terms visibility, identify high-value opportunities, and uncover areas of value leakage. Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you'll help transform fragmented data into actionable insights that support smarter decision-making and drive meaningful business outcomes across the Group.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Designing and maintaining integrated datasets, analytical models, and reporting to improve trading terms visibility.
  • Delivering insights that identify high-value commercial opportunities and areas of leakage.
  • Supporting the development of trading terms standards through data-driven analysis and segmentation.
  • Driving value delivery programs through analytics, performance tracking, and opportunity sizing.
  • Enabling sourcing and commercial initiatives through trading terms analysis, benefit tracking, and validation.

This role is based at our Brisbane Support Office in Strathpine, operating in a hybrid work environment.

About You

We are seeking a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with complex data and turning it into meaningful insights that drive business outcomes. You have strong commercial acumen and can connect analysis to tangible value outcomes, while confidently simplifying complex data into clear, actionable business insights. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are naturally curious about uncovering opportunities, and can effectively partner with stakeholders to influence decision-making and deliver meaningful results.

In addition, you bring:

  • Strong experience in data analysis, commercial analytics, BI, or financial analysis.
  • Proven capability in building integrated datasets, analytical models, or data cubes from multiple source systems.
  • Experience working with complex and imperfect data environments.
  • Experience with BI tools, reporting environments, and structured data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous and evolving data environments.
  • Experience working across merchandising or commercial teams is desirable.

WHY JOIN US?

  • You’ll get to join for an organisation with a culture that is driven by innovation and creating awesome experiences for our customers and teams, and will get to work alongside a diverse team across Super Retail Group that is representative of the communities we work in.
  • Super Retail Group is a Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation holder.
  • We are committed to your professional development and will support on-going opportunities for both learning and progression.
  • You will get access to generous discounts across all Super Retail Group brands, as well as access to our Perks Programme, including discounts on Health and Wellbeing, Entertainment, Travel and Accommodation and more.

Our Culture of Inclusion
