These roles involve servicing, diagnosing, and repairing elevated work platforms (EWPs) and related access equipment, both in the workshop and out in the field. The positions offer variety, autonomy, and the chance to work with modern equipment. Workshop, Field work ,and FIFO opportunities available.
What you’ll be doing
- Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and repairs on EWPs, forklifts, telehandlers, and similar machinery.
- Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults, and implement timely solutions.
- Provide responsive breakdown support to minimise customer downtime.
- Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and job reports.
- Work in compliance with safety protocols, WHS requirements, and industry standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business professionally in the field.
What we’re looking for
- Trade qualification: Plant Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Technician, or equivalent.
- Previous experience with EWPs, access equipment, forklifts, or telehandlers is highly regarded.
- Strong diagnostic skills across hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Current driver’s licence (HR or MR desirable).
- High Risk Work Licence and/or EWP Service Technician experience is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
