Field Service Engineer - Medical / Scientific equipment

We're partnering with leading organisations in the medical and scientific sector to appoint experienced Field Service Engineers.

These roles support the installation, maintenance and servicing of advanced medical and scientific equipment used in clinical, laboratory and research environments.

The Opportunity

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Installation and commissioning of complex medical / scientific machinery
• Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
• Fault finding, diagnostics and on-site repairs
• Pre-installation planning and technical coordination
• Providing technical support and training to customers
• Maintaining accurate service documentation and parts inventory
• Supporting quality assurance testing and compliance standards

Some roles may involve domestic and occasional international travel.

About You

Successful candidates will typically have:

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or similar)
• Experience servicing high-value technical equipment (medical, imaging, laboratory, radiation, or scientific systems highly regarded)
• Strong fault-finding capability across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
• Customer-facing service experience
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of compliance, ESD requirements and safety protocols
• A current driver’s licence

Experience with medical IT systems, imaging platforms, radiation therapy equipment or laboratory instrumentation will be highly regarded.
