About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of tax and compliance work with a high level of autonomy while contributing to the technical strength of the team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs
- Preparing BAS and IAS
- Managing payroll functions
- Preparing Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns
- Handling complex tax matters and technical queries
- Supporting junior and intermediate accountants when required
- Working across AE, MYOB (including AccountRight), Xero and Class
About You
- CA qualified
- 5+ years’ experience in public practice accounting
- Strong technical knowledge across tax and compliance
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented, reliable and professional
