The role:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager or Senior Project Manager to drive the successful execution of high-impact cross-functional projects that support our business growth strategy. The role involves collaborating closely with various business units to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, ensuring the seamless execution of projects from initiation to completion.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee enterprise portfolio management governance across the Corporate PMO and Transformation Office, including facilitating enterprise portfolio ceremonies, status reporting, and steering committees (SteerCos). 
  • Drive project prioritisation to balance short-term operational needs with long-term objectives. 
  • Develop detailed project plans, track progress, milestones and timelines, dependencies and provide regular updates to ELT. 
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. 
  • Coordinate with various business units to allocate and manage resources effectively, including identifying business and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the project lifecycle. Ensure rigorous project management practices and governance are followed throughout the project lifecycle

Experience & Skills: 

  • 7+ years of experience in managing complex business projects, preferably in media or a similar industry. 
  • Proven track record to deliver business-critical projects on time and within budget. 
  • Experienced in establishing and leading a PMO from inception, delivering robust governance, standardised processes, and strategic alignment to drive project success and business value.  
  • Skilled in accelerating decision-making and project delivery while maintaining strong governance frameworks to ensure accountability, quality, and strategic alignment 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong project execution with clear milestones and deliverables. 
  • Effective collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve business goals. 
  • Ability to proactively resolve conflicts and use people skills to drive decisions or identify the best next steps for moving projects forward. 
  • A structured, organised approach to managing project timelines and budgets.
