We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior People & Culture Business Partner, to engage as a strategic consultant, high impact advisor and trusted partner to leaders, aligning people and culture initiatives with our strategic business objectives and solving complex business challenges. This role drives organisational effectiveness and co-creates people solutions that support high performance and culture transformation.
Reporting to the Group HR Director, this role will:
- Business Partnership & Strategy Alignment: Work closely with senior leaders to understand business strategies and translate them into targeted, data-informed people initiatives that support the achievement of business goals.
- Systemic HR Solutions: Collaborate with COEs and cross-functional teams to design, implement and embed holistic programs in talent development, workforce planning, and culture transformation.
- Organisation Design & Change: Lead efforts in organisational restructuring, change management, and agility-building to increase adaptability and performance.
- Workforce Planning: Lead workforce planning initiatives, succession planning, and talent pipeline development.
- Capability Coaching: Act as a coach and trusted advisor to leaders, empowering leadership capabilities, performance accountability, and talent growth.
- Data-Driven Insight: Use people analytics to assess trends, identify root causes of workforce challenges, and deliver strategic recommendations to leaders to enable them to make data informed decisions and improve employee experience.
- Employee Relations and Safety: Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, performance management, and conflict resolution partnering with COEs as required to mitigate people risk and to drive a high-performance culture.
- Organisational Development: Support culture transformation initiatives, improving effectiveness and driving a high-performance culture
- Compliance: Ensure people and culture policies and practices are complied with within the organisation.
- People data: Analyse and utilise people data to inform quality decision-making.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology or related field (Master’s or MBA desirable).
- Minimum 10 years in an HRBP or strategic people advisory role within a complex, fast-paced organisation and partnering with senior leaders
- Relevant Executive Coaching qualification (preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in OD, change leadership, talent management, and data analytics.
- Proven track record of successfully business partnering through business transformation
- Exceptional interpersonal and consulting skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Experience applying agile frameworks or human-centered design in people initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence.
- Ability to work collaboratively at all levels of oOh!
- Driven with an action/outcomes orientation
- Ability to think strategically while being prepared to support tactical execution
- Strong influencing, analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a hands-on approach to tackling challenges and implementing solutions.
- Adaptable and innovative, able to continuously update and evolve strategies to meet the changing needs of the organisation.
- Relevant qualifications and change certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in leading organisational change and transformation projects.
