Title: Transition Manager 5

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 7 months contract

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a Transition Manager, you will lead and execute strategic transition and change initiatives that support Nike’s evolving business operations, with a focus on procurement, inventory, and delivery planning. Drawing on your deep expertise in change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement, you will:

  • Develop and implement detailed demand, inventory, and procurement plans across categories and product types to support Nike’s global distribution strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and operational execution.
  • Design and deliver change management strategies, communications, and training programs that support system transitions, vendor onboarding, and process improvements.
  • Analyze and validate data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive efficiency and profitability.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into project performance, inventory health, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing scalable, user-centered solutions.
  • Support executive leadership with strategic guidance, clear communications, and timely updates throughout the transition lifecycle.
  • Apply a people-first approach to change, ensuring minimal disruption and high adoption across impacted teams.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelors Degree required plus minimum 5+ years directly relevant experience including comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert
  • PhD, Law, Masters, Associates or High School degree with commensurate years of experience may be substituted for Bachelors degree
  • Experience with procurement projects, specifically professional services experiment projects a plus but not required
  • Ability to wear multiple hats including change management, communications and project management
  • Strong communication skills, comfort with ambiguity, and team player mentality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools a plus
