The Opportunity

As a Graduate Accountant in our Sydney CBD office, you’ll gain valuable, hands-on experience that sets the foundation for a successful accounting career. You’ll become an integral part of a collaborative team, working closely with and being mentored by experienced Partners who are invested in your growth.

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
  • Assist in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
  • Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients 
  • Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events

About you:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
  • Relevant experience within an accounting practice during or after your studies (ideally 12 months)
  • Experience with accounting software, such as MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, Xero and Quickbooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Committed to providing exceptional service and being a collaborative team member
