The Opportunity
We are seeking a Junior to Intermediate Strata Auditor to support continued growth within our North Sydney office
This role is ideal for:
- Business Services or Tax Accountants looking to transition into Audit
- Accountants seeking broader exposure and earlier client interaction
No prior strata experience is required - full training and ongoing support are provided.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform audit testing, sampling, and risk assessments.
- Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with strata legislation.
- Assess levy income, sinking funds, and maintenance funds.
- Understand Owners Corporation budgets and long-term maintenance planning.
- Communicate audit findings clearly to clients.
- Participate in client meetings and liaise with strata managers.
- Support accounting software setup and optimisation.
- Manage work-in-progress and assist with invoicing.
- Stay current with auditing standards and strata legislation.
About you:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Business Services or Tax.
- CA qualified or currently undertaking CA.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Confident written and verbal communication.
- Proactive, organised, and client focused.
