The Opportunity
We are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join our growing Singleton office. You’ll play a key role in driving the next phase of our growth and will be mentored by Partners who are deeply invested in helping you develop into a future leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Partners and team members to deliver timely, high‑quality client work
- Providing tax planning and advisory services
- Assisting with staff training and contributing to a culture of continuous learning
- Preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns across individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
- Preparing and reviewing BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG preparation
- Liaising with statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Participating in team meetings, training sessions and social events
- Delivering exceptional service and building strong client relationships
About You
- 2-3+ years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
- CA qualified or working towards qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (or similar)
- Familiarity with practice management platforms like MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks - or a strong aptitude for learning new systems
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills
- A client-first mindset and commitment to delivering quality service
- A long-term vision to grow into a leadership role and contribute meaningfully to the team
