The Opportunity

As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be a key player in enabling Kelly+Partners’ next phase of growth. The successful applicant will become an integral part of the broader team and will have at least four years’ experience in a similar position.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing bookkeeping, payroll processing, and related services
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and other statutory returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and lodge payroll for a variety of clients, along with monthly and annual payroll tax returns, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations
  • Prepare end-of-year Single Touch Payroll lodgements for clients
  • Complete bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and data processing
  • Generate monthly and quarterly client reports using accounting software
  • Work in tandem with Client Directors, Senior Managers and Partners and the broader team on projects to drive success for Kelly+Partners
  • Partake in company events, training sessions as well as team meetings

About You

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a chartered accountancy firm, preferred
  • Possess a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting
  • Proven working experience with accounting software, specifically; Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Reckon
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
