The Opportunity
As an Intermediate Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting Kelly+Partners’ next phase of growth. You’ll work closely with Partners, gain exposure to a diverse client base, and be supported with clear pathways into leadership.
Position Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
- Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
- Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
- Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
- Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
- Help provide exceptional service to our clients
About you
- 3 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
- Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
- Familiarity with practice management platforms like MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks - or a strong aptitude for learning new systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
