About the role
We have a superb 12 month fixed term opportunity for an experienced Property, Fleet & Plant Coordinator to join our team, based in Melbourne. Reporting to our Group Property & Fleet Manager, this role is a value adding colleague and trusted confidant of the Group Property, Fleet and Plant team. This role coordinates activities such as budgeting, cost analysis, financial obligations, compliance, investment proposals, contract and provides administration support.
Key responsibilities include
- Providing administrative and coordination services, including prioritising team meetings, correspondence and communications
- Proactively engages with all team members, seeking endorsement for ideas and recommendations
- Coordinate the process of documentation so that it is completed and submitted on time both internally and externally
- Support the development of the teams financial year budget
- Coordinate procurement processes ensuring procedures are adhered to
- Produce reports and presentations as required
- Adopts a team view in all activities and decisions
The successful candidate will likely come from a similar role with experience supporting a Property, Plant and/or Fleet team. Exposure to space management is definitely advantageous, but not critical. Displaying a high level of emotional intelligence, you thrive on attention to detail. You showcase the confidence, capability and prioritising skills to navigate competing demands of the various business groups you support. You flourish in fast paced change and deal with ambiguity, effectively managing often changing priorities.
Finally, you couple a 'can do' attitude with a positive, friendly demeanour. These traits will ensure success in this critical role.
