Overview of our role

Join Jemena's Regulatory Compliance team and play an important role in supporting the governance and compliance frameworks that underpin our gas and electricity networks.

Working closely with the Regulatory Compliance Lead - Networks, you'll help monitor regulatory obligations, support compliance reporting, and work with stakeholders across the business to ensure regulatory requirements are understood and managed effectively.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who enjoys analysing information, interpreting regulations and working collaboratively with others to achieve outcomes.

You'll ideally have:

  • 2-3 years' experience in compliance, governance, risk or regulatory roles
  • An understanding of compliance frameworks and compliance management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics, Law or a related discipline 

Experience That Will Be Highly Regarded

  • Energy, utilities or broader regulated industry experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory obligations, reporting requirements and licence conditions
  • Experience supporting compliance monitoring and reporting activities
  • Understanding of electricity, gas or utility-sector regulation
