About the Role:
As a SCADA Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our Electricity SCADA and Real-Time Systems (RTS) are robust, reliable, and ready to meet the needs of our control room operations. You’ll work across a suite of systems including SCADA, DMS, ADMS, OMS, and SOM—ensuring they’re not only technically sound but also aligned with our values of safety, compliance, and service excellence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving with purpose, values collaborative teamwork, and is excited to contribute to projects that make a real difference.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the design, database configuration, and commissioning of SCADA systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality operational displays and database configurations
- Applying your knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, and Python to solve complex challenges
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems and processes
- Providing thoughtful, responsive support to ensure 24/7 operational readiness
What You Bring
- A degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering
- Previous experience in SCADA environments
- A strong foundation in SCADA, DMS, OMS, SOM, RTU, Comms, FEP, and OSI PI historian configuration
- Field experiences in Electricity Industries including zone sub upgrades
- Experience with OSII or GE PowerOn Fusion systems is highly regarded
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering meaningful outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
