About The Role
The Operations Manager is the key commercial and operational services interface for Energy Retailers of our networks. You will manage a Retail Officer and also be responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of operational services to Energy Retailers, optimising the B2B workflows and triaging/addressing operational issues between parties. You will build strong commercial relationships and work collaboratively internally with other parts of the business in order to optimise commercial outcomes, identify improvement opportunities, mitigate risks and drive change throughout the organisation.
Develop and maintain commercial arrangements with Retailers ensuring contractual and regulatory obligations are met.
Identify and evaluate commercial and operational risks and opportunities.
Develop strategies to maintain and strengthen effective operating relationships between gas/electricity networks and retailers/key stakeholders.
Manage third-party escalated enquiries and provide retail performance reporting including trend analysis.
Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualified in a business related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in Contract Management.
Demonstrated experience in a regulated industry and knowledge of industry bodies.
Experience working within in a customer advocacy or relationship management role.
