The Role
Looking for a change of scenery? Join us in the heart of Queensland’s outback! We’re seeking enthusiastic all-rounders to help keep our iconic properties at Undara Experience and Mt Surprise clean, tidy, and ready for the season ahead. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same—you’ll be working across housekeeping and grounds maintenance, with occasional travel between the two locations (just 45 minutes apart).
Duties
- Assist with housekeeping tasks to maintain accommodation and facilities.
- Help with grounds upkeep—gardens, pathways, and general property presentation.
- Pitch in with seasonal projects and odd jobs to keep everything running smoothly.
- Travel to Mt Surprise when needed to support similar duties.
Skills and Experience
- Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Comfortable working in remote locations and adapting to changing conditions.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or grounds work is a bonus, but not essential.
- Driver's license is essential for this role.

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Undara. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
