Transport for Brisbane (TfB) division operates and maintains one of the largest public transport fleets in Australia to deliver public transport services for the people living, working, and visiting the City of Brisbane. Through contracts with the State Government and private organisations we provide clean, convenient, and effective transport options on bus, CityCat, ferry, e-bike, e-scooter, and soon - Metro.
Our Branch
Engineering and Asset Management branch is responsible for maintenance of bus fleet and for establishing and reviewing maintenance policies and standards. The branch procures bus fleet, products, and services; and coordinates major projects and divisional ICT requirements.
The Maintenance team aim to drive continuous improvement through their four pillars, capacity and capability, quality maintenance, standardisation, and communication.
The Role
The Maintenance Planner conducts operational maintenance planning through the application of Brisbane City Council’s Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP) system.
Are you a skilled Maintenance Planner looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Engineering and Assets Management is seeking dedicated individuals to join their teams at Sherwood, Eagle Farm, and Toowong depots to contribute to the planning and scheduling functions.
Key requirements:
- technical expertise: proficient in maintenance planning and scheduling activities
- organizational skills: strong planning, scheduling, and prioritisation abilities
- interpersonal skills: build collaborative relationships with stakeholders
- compliance knowledge: familiarity with health and safety, environmental, and quality policies
- communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills
- proficiency: SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and maintenance planning methodologies
- team player: contribute to team direction, feedback, and performance standards.
