You'll be skilled at maintaining open and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders across the organisation.
You'll be knowledgeable in managing the deployment and optimisation of critical hardware, leading initiatives for network infrastructure improvements and providing strategic oversight for communication, hardware, and software solutions.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Team Leadership: Provide direction, advice, and support to direct reports while promoting a learning and customer-centric culture. Oversee Service Desk operations, ensuring prompt resolution of customer requests with an emphasis on first-contact resolution.
- Drive Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal stakeholders to coordinate service and infrastructure needs, pro-actively building relationships to ensure effective buy-in and adoption of solutions.
- Infrastructure and Production Support: Oversee the deployment and optimisation of critical hardware, lead initiatives for network infrastructure improvements and provide oversight and direction for communication, hardware, and software solutions.
- Build Relationships: Collaborate with the cyber security team and Managed Service providers to support security measures and plan for network capacity needs. Manage vendor relationships including coordinating response to critical or major issues.
- Project Oversight: Guide your team's involvement in ICT projects, ensuring strategic alignment and successful implementation. Prepare and monitor relevant budgets and oversee change control processes and network infrastructure documentation.
What do you need to bring?
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience, with ITIL foundation level accreditation highly desirable.
- Advanced technical expertise in network and systems administration and proficiency in network management, capacity planning and security best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership in team management and performance development.
- Ability to support senior management through effective issue resolution and proactive communication.
- Skilled in supporting diverse IT environments and ensuring alignment with service level outcomes.
