Who are we looking for?

At AnglicareSA, we believe every child deserves the best chance to thrive, even in challenging circumstances. The Parenting Orders program supports separated families, helping children and parents navigate the complexities of separation and conflict.

This is more than just a job, it is a chance to make a tangible difference in children’s lives, helping them adjust to family changes, feel less isolated, and better understand their emotions. You will also empower parents to build healthier co-parenting strategies in a safe, supportive environment.

Join a child-focused, dynamic team, and work closely with parents to work through difficult situations and conflict resolution.

If you are passionate about caring for others and are driven to help parents and children thrive, this is the role for you.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Delivering psycho-educational and therapeutic group work for adults and children, including tailored one-on-one support as required.
  • Developing, delivering, and evaluating individual and group services for children and their parents, addressing diverse needs.
  • Establish and maintain referral points and network contacts.
  • Building effective relationships with families, team members, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Providing accurate and timely reports and evaluations to support program success.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead group services and assist parents navigating high-conflict situations.

Occasionally some after-hours work and metropolitan travel (to our other sites at Elizabeth or Christies Beach) will be required.

What do you need to bring?

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent (essential).
  • Postgraduate qualifications in social work, psychology, adult education, counselling, or family dispute resolution (desirable).
  • Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Attorney-General’s Department (desirable).
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable).
  • Proven experience delivering group and individual support to families and children in high-conflict situations.
