Quarry Supervisor

The role

Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will play a key leadership role in daily quarry operations, ensuring safety, production efficiency, and high-quality output. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong operational experience and a passion for leading people in a dynamic quarry environment.

This role is located in Kalbar, QLD.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety across site, ensuring compliance with legislation and Adbri safety standards.
• Coordinate drilling, blasting, load & haul, crushing, and processing activities.
• Monitor plant performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support maintenance planning and ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
• Foster a positive team culture built on communication, accountability, and respect.

What you will need to succeed

• Previous supervisory or leading-hand experience in quarrying, mining, or heavy industry
• Commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
