The role

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Technical Supervisor – Concrete to join our technical team on a permanent full-time basis. In this role, you will work closely with both production and sales teams, using your technical expertise to support quality processes, ensure product compliance, and deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers. Your responsibilities will include monitoring product performance through site assessments and laboratory results, investigating customer concerns, developing practical solutions, and monitoring the performance of concrete and raw materials.

This role is located in Port Melbourne and will require some travel to site locations, with a Monday-to-Friday roster and occasional out-of-hours and weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Sampling and testing of concrete and aggregate products
  • Analysis of results and providing technical recommendations
  • Investigation of quality issues for internal and external customers
  • Technical supervision of critical projects
  • Collaboration with production team to ensure successful day to day plant operations
  • Quality control knowledge & processes of concrete production and raw material QA controls
  • Development of new products and existing product optimisation

What you will need to succeed

  • Experience in concrete sampling and testing, including Vic Roads standards
  • Extensive knowledge of various concrete mixes & applications
  • Australian drivers license
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
